A House Show Update

After an enormous response we have chosen 4 cities on which to descend and with all the fury of a raging ocean, unleash a quiet and intimate evening of music, conversation and fraternal love. The location of the shows will be disclosed only to those who purchase tickets (which are extremely limited) through our online store. Most of these shows are being capped at 40 people so don’t dilly dally! Get your tickets before we sell out!

A Short Run of House Shows

After our house show in Nashville was such a success we thought it would be a great idea to bring the concept to the road. We’re still working out the lumps and bumps but we have settled on the following dates and locations as our first trial run and need some of our fine fans to host us!

Friday, July 16th – Memphis, TN
Saturday, July 17th – Birmingham, AL
Sunday, July 18th – Chattanooga, TN

Here’s how it works.

1.Whether it be a large living room area, basement, lounge, den, study or underground lair, you have a space that can comfortably accommodate 40+ people without upsetting your local fire marshal. Please take into consideration the amount of cars that will be parked outside. While we will be encouraging people to share rides, there will likely be large amounts vehicles outside. You will want to check with your neighbors/landlord to make sure no one will be calling the police about the new parking lot you seem to be opening.

2. All tickets will be purchased in advance and will not be sold at the door. We will sell a predetermined number of tickets through the Waterdeep website based on how many people you feel your room can hold so please, please, be realistic. If we over sell the show, we have to knock down one of your walls (Not really).

3. There will be no physical tickets for the show and no money to handle. We will provide you with a detailed list of everyone who is coming and we just ask that you check their names off as they come in.

4. To show our thanks to you, our gracious host, we will provide you five free tickets for your friends, family, your friend’s family, your family friends or maybe you know a friendly family that would enjoy the show. They are your tickets… give them to whom you’d like.

5. There will be no need for a sound system. Don is prepared to melt your faces unplugged if you will just provide a chair for him to sit on.

6. In order to keep people from just showing up looking for tickets, your home address will not be given out to anyone except those who purchase tickets through the Waterdeep site.

If you are interested, please follow these steps:
1. Email caleb@waterdeep.com with the following
 - your address
 - a few photos of your living room
 - which of the dates you are interested in
2. Pee yourself (optional) in anticipation of my return email letting you know whether or not we will be able to use your home in our schedule.

Anywho, that is our update and we're sticking to it. Thanks so much for being the awesome people that you are and we can't wait to see you out on the road.

-Waterdeep

Moving To Nashville

Well, here's the big news from the Chaffer house: we're moving from our long-time home of Kansas City, Missouri to Nashville, Tennessee. Sad as it makes us to leave friends and family in Kansas City, we have a strong feeling that it's going to be better for our family in the long run to be in a place where my business- songwriting and record producing- has a better shot at flourishing. Feel free to send up a prayer on our behalf. It'll be a big transition.
